"I would like to say what a life changing opportunity this class has been for me from the day that I started!  I began the class with the intention of getting into better shape to strengthen my back.  I had intermittent back and leg pain from the start of my pregnancy that was only made worse by being on my feet all day at work and doing heavy lifting that goes with my job.  Not to mention having horrible posture!  I began this yoga class after two years of dealing with this pain and trying just about everything.  Exercise was what I needed to strengthen my core and back, but exercise also made it hurt more.  Not only has this Yoga class brought me strength physically, but it's taken away my back and leg pain and strengthened me mentally! What an amazing class with such inspiring instructors!! It is such a well rounded yoga class that builds you up from the moment you begin! Yoga has brought such joy to my life that I am trying to get everyone I know to take a class! Clint and Stacy are truly inspiring with their yoga and their loving, caring personalities.  They want everyone to succeed no matter what age, strength or limitations. "Back in October of 2009 I had been suffering from chronic back and leg pain for a very long time. I had been through the typical routes of tests, CT scan, pain clinics, neurologist, etc. After some mild relief from the pain clinics nothing lasted for more than a week or so. As I started to get frustrated the three doctors (pain clinic, neurologist, and cardiologist) all asked me the same question. Have you tried YOGA? I happened to be at the pain clinic that day and my doctor brought me a flyer about the Anusara Yoga programs that Clint and Stacy offer at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.  My wife and I tried the monthly, FREE therapeutics class that they offer to the public. My wife and I found an instant connection with the care and passion Clint and Stacy have for their Yoga practice. I was hooked!! We signed up for the next series of classes that started in Nov. 09.  I have signed up every month since..."

"I injured my back 4 years ago. I have tried various forms of physical therapy being told, "just keep up with your exercises and you'll be as good as new" over and over again.  So, I kept up with my exercises but didn't get better.  Everytime I tried to resume my "normal activities," my pain came right back as if I had never done a thing.  At times it was excruciating to sit or stand.  I was at the end of my rope when I met Clint and Stacy. I was in the worst shape I had ever been in, in my life.  I'd packed on 40 lbs. since my injury.  I've never been flexible, not even as an infant, so I had no misconceptions of it being easy.
From the moment I took my first step into the Therapeutic Yoga class I knew things were going to change.  I knew I was where I needed to be.  I have never felt such an overwhelming feeling of comfort and compassion exept from my own family.  Clint and Stacy create an undeniable atmosphere of genuine caring and healing.  Clint's approach to teaching is truly inspirational...Everytime I find myself doing something I never thought possible, I pause and say a quick thank you to God for putting Clint and Stacy in my path.
After only a few classes I am now gardening without pain!  It's Amazing! I'm on my way to being the healthiest I've ever been, thanks to 1000 Suns Yoga."
