1000 Thanks

"Have an attitude of gratitude." - L. Levitt, M.D.

I have a million reasons to be grateful.  As a teacher, it is essential to remember that I am always a student first. I would like to express my gratitude to all of the teachers that came before me.  My first and most influential Anusara Inspired Yoga teacher is Clint Forrestt.  He is also my partner in business and in life.  These words could not fully express the love, devotion, and respect that I hold in my heart for this truly divine spirit.  Through him, I was introduced to the teachings of John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Jeffrey Armstrong. John Friend is not only the founder of the fastest growing lineage of yoga in the world, but also the creator of a beautiful and refined system of Anusara Yoga Therapy that I would like to help spread to people that need it most (www.anusara.com).  Desiree Rumbaugh is a master Anusara Yoga teacher, and the embodiment of beauty, grace, and resilience.  She is a mentor, and an inspiration (www.desireerumbaugh.com).  Jeffrey Armstrong is an award winning author and scholar of Eastern Wisdom.  He is a gifted speaker on yogic philosophy through his teachings of scientific, spiritual, and cultural knowledge of the ancient Vedic literature.  He inspires a passion for a lifetime of learning(www.jeffreyarmstrong.com).  My knowledge of the medical field, and my first role as a healer and teacher, was nurtured by the exceptional physicians of Lehigh Neurology.  Thank you for teaching me that it is an honor to practice medicine and care for other people.  I am forever thankful to my family, friends and students for their unconditional support during my time of transformation.  Vaishali Arjula, my dear friend thousands of miles away, exemplifies wisdom, strength, and loyalty.  Many blessings to you and your entire family.  My sister, Susan, encouraged me to continue teaching yoga during my greatest moments of change.  Without her advice, I would be on a different path.  My mom, of course, is a true devotional yogi.  I am constantly encouraged by her ability to persevere, serve others, and love so deeply.  Thank you mom for being my light.  It is a privilege to be your daughter.  Finally, I need to thank our family dogs, Bailey and Madison, for constantly reminding me the Secret to Happiness.  Simply, live in the moment, play and take naps often, be loyal, and love unconditionally.   Namaste, Stacy
