Clint was raised as a MidWest boy on a small farm in Berryton, Kansas. His childhood ambitions focused on athletics, where he excelled in multiple sports, including football, basketball, baseball and track. Clint attended Kansas State University, graduated with a degree in Business Management, and pursued a career as a professional athlete. During his involvement with competitive sports at Kansas State, Clint became permanently injured. It was then he discovered his need to find a new path. Suddenly separated from his childhood dream to compete in the NFL, Clint was confronted with the reality that life was taking him in a direction that he never could have imagined. After college, and without knowing who he was, Clint moved to Phoenix, Arizona. His grace at this time in life, came from his Aunt Debbie, an Inspirational Yoga instructor. Through her care and teachings, Clint found relief from his chronic back pain, and learned valuable secrets to revealing his true nature(dharma) and inner happiness(ananda). From this relationship and life experiences, Clint began devoting his life to practicing, studying and teaching Yoga. Clint is a very passionate instructor, who believes there is potential for beauty and perfection in everything we do. His teaching style is inspired by Anusara Yoga, which focuses on the creative integration of the mind, body and spirit. Clint's classes are designed to enhance the celebration of a student's experience, along their path of awakening. Given his past experience as an athlete, in addition to his training in therapeutics, Clint is well equipped to work with individuals addressing performance, flexibility, recovery, rehabilitation from injuries, and the desire to improve the winning spirit. Clint has also made himself available as a mentor to those on a spiritual path, to individuals seeking a role model, and to anyone interested in learning these Yogic principles as knowledge(jnana) or in practice(asana).
